BeamBerry is a free (for now) application that allows you to view certain attachments from your BlackBerry. The reason I am mentioning it is because they have just released Version 2.0 of BeamBerry that adds quite a few new features. I personally use BeamBerry as a backup for the native attachment viewing on my BlackBerry. I regularly get attachments that just do not work or look right on my Berry. BeamBerry, like RepliGo allows you to see the PDF or Word files in their original un-“optimized” form. BeamBerry is even better in regards to Excel where the native viewer only shows you the first 5 rows and columns which can be quite frustrating.
BeamBerry also includes BeamPrint and BeamDisk. BeamPrint is kind of pointless in my opinion since it only allows for Bluetooth printing but BeamDisk allows you to access documents that you store online and attach them to emails that you send out. My only complaint on BeamBerry is that it is an always running application so I am not sure if it is eating battery or processing power while you are not using it. Check it out at the links below:
