Review: BlackBerry Z30 Leather Pocket Pouch

The BlackBerry Z30 has been out for quite a while now, but there has been pretty little coverage on the accessories available for it. Out of the box, the BlackBerry Z30 has no pouch or casing to protect it, just like the BlackBerry Z10. Apart from the BlackBerry Z30 Carbonite case, which was given as a beta but never made its way on retail stores, the leather pocket pouch is the next most familiar accessory for any BlackBerry device.

BlackBerry Leather Pocket pouch has been made, and been available for almost, if not, all BlackBerry devices that I can think of, even from the legacy times.

It seems like BlackBerry has decided to move on from smooth type of leather back in the legacy times (the last time I saw an official smooth leather case was for 9900 or PlayBook), to these kind of premium rougher type of texture leather.

Just like any other official leather pouches from BlackBerry, you can expect that the power-saving magnet to work perfectly and fit perfectly for the device.

The design ensures that whilst in the pouch, the device is protected, especially the vulnerable ports, whilst still granting you the access to the media controls. The LED notification is still clearly visible, as well as the access to the earphone port and lock button at the top.

All in all, the BlackBerry Z30 Leather Pouch brings back a very classic BlackBerry accessory that is pretty much fuss free and straight forward to use. Long time BlackBerry users will find this accessory familiar and appreciate it. On the other hand, if you are one user that is on your phone every few minutes, this might not be the most ideal accessory, where you might want to look at other alternatives.

Do you have this case as well? Let us know how much your loving it!
