The hugely popular Poynt app for BlackBerry smartphones got an update today to v1.8.6 today. The new update brings support for the latest devices along with other updates. The change log they included in the description shows:
- Larger Icons for touch screens
- 9790 support
- 9380 support
- TeleNav library update
- Petrol section (UK)
- Search for stations nearby or by best petrol price
- Report updated petrol prices
- Miscellaneous Bug fixes

UPDATE: Papped sent us another change log for the update that states:
-Table booking functionality for France/Spain
-Gas prices available in Canada
-Offers integrated into Restaurant section
-Online menus and food ordering (US only)

After talking to Poynt on Twitter, I can confirm the “Gas prices available in Canada” feature is not yet included – but is coming soon!
