Women in Canada should check out the new YWCA Safety Siren app that was released by the YWCA this week. The app targets young women in Canada (limited to Canada only) and offers up health and saftey information. It also offers a one touch button to send an SOS urgent email, phone, and BBM message to contact a friend or family member when you are in an unsafe situation. It autodials a preselected friend and displays your location on a map.
