Just in time for what we expect to be the announcement today of the 9800 slider, the device gets the FCC approval stamp. Today in a few minutes RIM and AT&T are hosting an even in NY city where everyone expects the 9800 to announced along with the launch of BlackBerry 6. This marks a great step for RIM since this is the biggest jump in device design and OS improvements in quite a while.
