MySpace For BlackBerry Coming TONIGHT! (Midnight)
We have some good news for all of you MySpace fans. RIM just let me know that they will be releasing the MySpace application for BlackBerry tonight at 12:01 AM EST.
A bit after midnight you will be able to pick up the application at www.blackberry.com/myspace or m.myspace.com from your BlackBerry browser. You can catch more screenshots of the application in our previous post.
In a surprising move RIM is also launching a BlackBerry community page on MySpace at www.myspace.com/blackberry. They will be using this space to highlight new applications from RIM or partners along with accessories, news, contests, device tutorials, videos & more.
I applaud this move by RIM to promote a more consumer focused alternative to the RIM website. Hopefully RIM will make good use of it. It worked out pretty well for our president-elect Barack Obama.
