As one fellow BerryReview.com writer pointed out to me, I tend to have a love for finding and writing about various mobile websites (admittedly those weren’t his exact words). I certainly agree with that. After all, most of us love to use our idle time to goof around with our Blackberry Smartphones* (*hope my ‘boss’ Ronen sees that I am being politically correct here :0) and what better way then to browse around some neat and handy little mobile websites. mDog.com doesn’t let you down.
According to their website, mDog is the world’s most comprehensive destination for mobile search, web browsing, and blogging using your mobile web browser.
It offers the richest and most feature-robust mobile search and Internet experience. It is accessible to all Smartphones regardless of device brand or carrier service. There’s nothing to download – the browsing work is all handled remotely.
With mDog, you can do anything you would do using an Internet browser. Surf your favorite websites, search for information – even read and update blogs in real-time… from anywhere. It provides access to the Internet in a cleaner, faster-loading, easy-to-browse mobile format.
How is mDog better?
Most websites aren’t optimized for mobile browsing, which is many of them don’t display properly. Your phone is trying to request information like your computer would. Web pages are slow and hard to view, which produces a frustrating web browsing experience.
Pointing your Smartphone’s web browser to mdog.com enhances the mobile browsing experience. It provides the most comprehensive mobile search for information, the best mobile-formatted internet content, and mobile blogging using any Smartphone.
Create your custom mDog experience
Personalizing mDog allows you to configure mobile versions of your favorite websites. You can also configure mobile editions of your blogs.
Point your mobile web browser to mdog.com and have some fun.

There’s a winner. Click on “tools”, does nothing. Enter a search, does nothing. Mputz.

Mdog.com starts with a flash intro which does not work on a BlackBerry 8820. What good is mDog if you can’t get past the Flash intro?

Sorry guys, I was able to access the site and browse the ‘technology’ section (which worked fine) so didn’t delve any deeper…but I see now that some things aren’t working. I sent an email to mDog and will post here if I hear back.

Just timed out on 8310. Hopefully they’ll get it working soon. Sounds good in principal???
