Now that BlackBerry is rolling out enterprise feature after enterprise feature they are starting to bundle them together into logical concepts that can be sold as a bundled solution. They showed off BlackBerry Blend and how it now includes access to the enterprise browser to access intranet websites. On top of that they have shown off their VPN auth for BlackBerry which allows you to easily VPN using a different take at VPN authentication. Essentially instead of a token or virtual token you actually use your BlackBerry to VPN back into the company as something you have and then add your enterprise credentials to log in.
This bundle combining BBM Protected, Blend, and VPN auth includes advantage level support and will cost $6/month per user which is not bad. Obviously since this is focused on BlackBerry 10 then this requires BES 10 or 12 to get working. They also have a bundle for companies without BES that combines BBM Protected and the conference calling (webex competitor) solution BBM Meetings into one “Enterprise Communicator” bundle. No word on how much that will go for but both are available now on the BlackBerry website.
