BlackBerry Z3 Initial Stock Almost Sold Out in India in Two Weeks

It seems like the BlackBerry Z3 is gaining some traction in India or at least more traction than merchants were expecting. Retailers have been reporting to the Economic Times that they are almost sold out of the device two weeks after launch. Here is what the retailers had to say:

"We’ve sold about 75 per centof the stock that we got," Himanshu Chakrawarti, chief executive at The Mobile Store, told ET. "The Z3 has done well so far, benefiting from the easy installment options and discounts."

Supposedly industry insiders say that 25,000-30,000 Z3’s were imported into India so that gives us some general ideal of volume. I really hope they manage to pull some more traction with some follow up deals and a keyboard device.
