There is word that BlackBerry is planning on helping to launch a new healthcare services program in India with interconnected medical devices all working in harmony. The Economics Times has it on good authority (Sunil Lalvani MD of BlackBerry India) saying that they are already trialing in multiple hospitals with various equipment. This seems to all be part of BlackBerry’s investment in NantHealth in April which combines NantHealths OS with QNX.
