BlackBerry’s CEO took to the official BlackBerry blog to respond to a marketing message by T-Mobile last week. During that time T-Mobile’s CEO was all over Twitter being his eccentric self and calling out John Chen. Now some enterprising individual has taken it upon himself to bring BlackBerry CEO John Chen to Twitter whether he likes it or not with an new @BlackBerryCEO account. So far he has been keeping things pretty tame but some of the conversations are quite entertaining.
Either way I really think John Chen needs to put himself out in front of the brand in all ways including Twitter. I wonder if this will lead to Chen actually verifying a public Twitter account for himself that he actually uses. @JohnChen is a private taken account but maybe that is BlackBerry’s doing.
