New BlackBerry Exec Smacks Down Samsung Enterprise Solution

Boxing Executives

BlackBerry CEO John Chen just brought in John Sims to lead the Enterprise Service side of BlackBerry. Now Sims has made his first public debut with a blog post on the enterprise blog. In it Sims smacks down Samsung by pointing out its many security bugs and the fact that Samsung is very green to enterprise security. He points out the major security vulnerabilities we have mentioned before that turned out to be the fault of Android itself and Samsung Knox trying to survive on a hostile platform.

With Samsung still battle testing its enterprise platform and fixing security bugs, industries that require the most stringent security needs can trust that there’s nothing more secure than a BlackBerry device managed by a BlackBerry Enterprise Server – period. And that’s why we are the only enterprise mobility management vendor and handset maker that has received the Department of Defense “Authority to Operate” certification.

He continues to lay it out on Samsung in a very entertaining read. My favorite is how Samsung Knox is still not ready for prime time almost a year after it was announced. Check out the full roast here.
