BlackBerry is continuing to update their popular BBM Channels app in BlackBerry’s Beta Zone. They once again are recommending the convoluted sideloading method on BlackBerry 10 instead of just opening up OTA downloads like they are promoting on legacy devices. Either way the update is for both BB10 and Legacy devices bringing some nice updates including the ability to report channel content and more:
- Search for Channels
- Active Text for Channel ID’s Within BBOS (5, 6, and 7)
- Deleting My Own Channel
- Support for Animated GIFs
- View Subscriber Count Within a Channel’s Preview Screen
- Report Channel Content
