BlackBerry Experience Forum Starts in the UK with Today’s London Event

BlackBerry is courting UK enterprises today by bringing over 1,000 enterprise customers and developers to attend a BlackBerry Experience Forum today in London. The event is all day and should be wrapping up shortly covering the BlackBerry 10 platform, BlackBerry Z10, and BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10. They also had Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust (BSMHFT) announce the deployment of 1,800 BlackBerry Z10 smartphones in their public sector organization. BlackBerry also announced that more than 100 UK public and private sector organizations are currently trialing BlackBerry 10.

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM–(Marketwire – March 6, 2013) – BlackBerry(R) (NASDAQ:BBRY)(TSX:BB) is hosting the BlackBerry(R) Experience Forum for the enterprise community in London today.
More than 1,000 UK enterprise customers and developers have registered to attend the full day event (at the ExCel London), which is focused on showcasing the business benefits of the BlackBerry(R) 10 platform with the BlackBerry(R) Z10 smartphone and BlackBerry(R) Enterprise Service 10. Attendees will learn how BlackBerry’s completely re-invented suite of products, solutions and services work seamlessly together to enable enterprises of all sizes to easily deploy, manage, and secure BYOD and corporate mobile devices.
The fully booked event will feature customer presentations from large organisations such as Aviva, and keynote participation from public sector BlackBerry customer Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust (BSMHFT), which today announces that it will deploy 1,800 BlackBerry Z10 smartphones across the organisation.

More than 100 UK public and private sector organisations are currently trialing BlackBerry 10. These include BT, Centrica, Aviva, The Co-Operative Group and University Hospital Birmingham.
