I have always found analyst estimates to be a good laugh most of the time. The latest to prove just how fickle analysts are is the headline loving Canaccord Genuity analyst Mike Walkley. At launch his estimates said there would be Z10 sales of nearly 2 million devices in February. He they slashed it quickly down to 300,000. This week he jumped his numbers back up to 800,000 (via Globe&Mail) for the launches in Canada and the UK. Maybe next week he will guess 2.6 million? Any bets on what analysts will estimate next? 🙂
