I pointed out the stunning black and white image shoot Josh created with his BlackBerry Z10 yesterday. Josh let me know that he was working on a follow up shoot in color to address how the Z10 handles low light color shots. He took the Z10 for another shoot in the Toronto Metro and this time focused on color photos. I have to say I am just as impressed with the results just the same though you do notice a bit more of the grain. Still that is a compromise of any small sensor camera no matter what phone it is on. JT’s advice in the end is to:
Pick the phone you like the best! If the camera is important, pick the phone with the camera interface you like the best. In the end, the more comfortable you are using a camera the better images you’re going to take. For me, the Z10′s drag to focus and tap anywhere capture just fits well with my eye. It’s something I needed an app for on the iPhone…
I guess all I can say is if you really had your heart set on the Z10 but weren’t sure because of it’s “so-so” camera don’t be dissuaded.
Check out the full photo shoot over at JT’s website and let us know what you think. We are working with JT to create some tips and tricks for solid pictures using the Z10 so please let us know if you have any questions you want covered!
