How Much The BlackBerry Z10 Components Cost

After UBM Tech Insight provided a great breakdown of the BlackBerry Z10 components it was only a short time before someone priced them out. CNN Money did a video segment showing the pricing for each component which adds up to a total of $154 which is not bad at all! Here is the breakdown:

• Dual core CPU $23.50
• Touchscreen $26.50
• Camera component $15.00
• Flash storage $9.00
• Other components (battery, chip etc.etc.) $ 21.00
• Remaining materials (chassis, enclosure etc.etc.) $ 59.00

All in all a total of $154 gives BlackBerry some great profit margins for the device. On the other hand I hope it means we can see a souped up BlackBerry 10 device coming later in the year.
