I just suggested something like this to RIM and it seems like they were a few steps in front of me. Devs who attended RIM’s recent BlackBerry Got Game Port-A-Thon were raving about the one on one live support they received during the event. RIM decided that “why stop a good thing” and kicked off weekly live support hours for all types of BlackBerry 10 developers from now until January 31st. They are blocking off 2 hours a week for each development environment with the following schedule:
Mondays:
Marmalade: 10 AM to 12 PM (GMT-5) in Marmalade’s developer forums.
Sencha: 12 PM to 2 PM (GMT-5) in Sencha’s developer forums.
Tuesdays:
Cascades™ – BlackBerry Java porting to BlackBerry 10: 10 AM to 12 PM (GMT-5) in the BlackBerry developer support forums.
PhoneGap: 12 PM to 2 PM (GMT-5) in the BlackBerry developer support forums.
Wednesdays:
Qt: 10 AM to 12 PM (GMT-5) in the BlackBerry developer support forums.
jQuery: 12 PM to 2 PM (GMT-5) in jQuery’s developer forums.
Thursdays:
