The GasBuddy team let us know that they have overhauled their self titled app to version 3.0. This new version brings a renovated user interface to make the app more “info centric” as they call it. In other words it is easier than ever to find cheap gas on your BlackBerry.
Here are the updates in v3.0:
- An improved interface throughout the entire app including bigger prices, bigger distances, cleaner and more polished icons
- A new user profile that allows you to update your picture using BBM, your picture gallery, or your camera.
- A new win gas page that better identifies your ticket balance and prizes
- A new settings page with a better breakdown of sections and many new settings
- Zoom in to station photos to get a better look at each gas station
- The ability to share gas prices as you report them with friends on BBM.
- A new photo uploading system that allows you to upload from your gallery
- Removed unnecessary clicks and potential circular usage points.
- A number of tweaks and optimizations to speed up core features
Check out the latest version of GasBuddy free in App World. Hopefully they are working on a BlackBerry 10 version!
