We already heard about CreaVures and Shadowgun being released for the PlayBook. Union and BlackBerry have made things official by showcasing the apps on the Featured page of App World. They are both top notch games so I highly recommend picking them up as soon as you can. We’ve seen Union offer Muffin Knight for free for a limited time, but that was made clear when the app was downloaded. Since these games are advertised as ‘Compliments of BlackBerry,’ they should be free for the long haul…but go get em now just in case.
If you downloaded Shadowgun last night or earlier today, there is an update to version 1.0 that is supposed to fix some graphical and gameplay issues. It looks like there is actually an introduction to the game now as well. App World gave me an error when I tried to upgrade so I just deleted and downloaded again. Enjoy!
