Bist has long been known for releasing offline mapping apps for specific markets. Their latest is a line of Nautical Chart apps that they ported to the PlayBook from their Android versions. These are not just Android ports since Bist has worked to optimize the apps to better utilize the PlayBook’s features including notifications. They just released v14 of their Nautical Charts app that offers GPS accurate charts for fishing and boating offline. They have now also added voice prompts for marine navigation along with this whole list of new features:
