Free WiFiCheema Remote Desktop App For BlackBerry Smartphones (PC, Mac, Linux)

Wificheema

Umaircheema let us know about the release of their free Wi-Fi remote desktop app for BlackBerry smartphones that uses their own clients and servers. This is not based on Microsoft’s remote desktop but rather requires you to install the WiFiCheema server on your Windows, Mac, or Linux desktop. You can then download their clients for your BlackBerry smartphone or Android device to remotely control the computer over Wi-Fi.

You can check out the free WiFiCheema app in App World or learn more on their website. The server downloads are also available on the WiFiCheema website. I have not had a chance to try it yet but let us know how it works for you!

  1. I tried it and gave up, although i followed the instructions to the letter. disabled my firewall and anti virus. i could not get it to connect, would be a useful tool if it was easy to setup, nd we need an alternative to the ludicrously expensive vnc+ which although the trial worked brilliantly, is not worth £25.
