WebWorks developers creating BlackBerry 10 apps have something to look forward to today. RIM has just released a refresh of the BlackBerry 10 WebWorks SDK Beta to correspond with the other toolset updates. The nice part is that they are releasing this at the same time as the native SDK update though it is missing some API parity like NFC and such. The new update includes the much needed Invoke framework for interacting with other applications and services on the app. This lets apps communication and is the foundation for Super Apps.
Also of note is the addition of the new Push API that takes away the confusion between BES and BIS push which is welcome. RIM has also adopted the file access API from the HTML5 file specification so things are closer to standard. One update I like is the addition of the context menu UI access along with the pull down menu using the swipe down event.
All in all you should definitely check out the new BlackBerry 10 WebWorks SDK beta. You can find more details in the full announcement here.
