If you are sporting a Porsche Design P’9981 you will be happy to learn that you will shortly be getting some OS 7.1 love. Abbas Jaffar Ali from Tbreak was at the Internet & Mobile Show currently in Dubai right now and RIM UAE has a big presence there. One of the services RIM is offering at the booth is upgrading your device to the latest OS especially OS 7 to OS 7.1.
As you can see in the video below Abbas got OS 7.1 on his P’9981 and was told that starting next week others will also be getting the upgrade as it starts to roll out. Also interesting to note is that RIM is planning a retail push into a flagship store in Dubai with more to come. (via Bloomberg, Tbreak)
