Devs: Every 100th New App Submission Wins a Trip to BlackBerry 10 Jam (International!)

BlackBerry Loads of Apps

BlackBerry 10 Jam with RIM sounds like it will be hotter than BlackBerry DevCon this year with RIM pulling out all the stops to court developers. They announced another contest for devs this weekend to win a pass to BlackBerry 10 Jam courtesy of RIM. That includes $500 USD cash, a voucher for an airline ticket (up to $1,500 USD in North America and $2,500 USD outside of North America), and a pass to BlackBerry 10 Jam on May 1-3 with four nights hotel. That’s one hell of an incentive! Its also pretty cool that RIM is making this open to both North American and international developers.

Every 100th NEW app submitted to App World between April 10. 2012 at 12:01 EST until April 26th at Midnight EST is eligible. The only catch is that the app needs to be something RIM believes has the”Winning Criteria” which means it will be in reasonable demand in App World. In other words don’t make a fart app or slightly modify an existing app.

The contest is open to both new Smartphone and Tablet BlackBerry apps so get cracking! Check out the details here.
