Latest PlayBook OS 2.0 Beta Does Not Patch Dingleberry Jailbreak

I have been getting questions from readers asking if the latest PlayBook Beta OS 2.0.0.6149 blocked the Dingleberry root jailbreaking exploit. I have confirmed that my own PlayBook is still jailbroken after the update and @Cmwdotme has confirmed the same. The process still has you jailbreaking the PlayBook on an older OS version and then upgrading to the latest. Seems like this latest DHCP jailbreak is not high on RIM’s priority list. Hopefully they are working on packing on the features in the next beta release. 🙂
