After the fun drama this weekend Twitter has confirmed on their website that they have reinstated UberSocial’s (Formerly called UberTwitter) access to the Twitter API. I am not sure what prompted Twitter to do something so public other than making a point. Could be UberMedia was not responding fast enough to Twitter’s demands but it looks like the coin has flipped now. This is the update on Twitters website:
We’ve given the developers of twidroyd and UberSocial for Blackberry (formerly UberTwitter) access to the Twitter API again. Our initial review indicates that steps have been taken to remedy the violations for these applications.
When the developer updates twidroyd and Ubersocial, you’ll be able to download their updates to access Tweets again on these applications.
In other words you should be able to pick up a working version of UberSocial at ubersocial.com/blackberry/
