I am sure you are all as shocked as I am with this upset. 🙂 RIM has received the award at MWC this week for “App of the Year on the BlackBerry App World Platform” for BlackBerry Messenger. Don’t get me wrong Google won the top Android app with Google Maps but its still shows that RIM needs to help push developers to create better apps than even they can provide. Apps LIKE BlackBerry Messenger that takes the communications platform to the next level.
Still I bet BlackBerry Messenger can win again next year if RIM adds video chat…
