Tim W. over at the official DevBlog has posted a great tutorial on how to create a YouTube viewer using the BlackBerry 6 Communications API. I have always been telling RIM that they need to do more of these tutorials on the DevBlog since it is a perfect forum for sample applications. It gives RIM a chance to clearly show developers how “easy” it is to develop for BlackBerry while adding a new feedback loop. I hope they keep it up with a new sample app with full source code every week. 🙂
If you are interested you can check out how they built the YouTube viewer for BlackBerry 6 devices in the tutorial at this link.
