We let you know earlier in the month that Shape released IM+ Talk Beta v4.3 with Skype VoIP calls over 3G and EDGE. They have just announced that this version has been promoted out of beta so I am guessing it worked out in beta testing. The previous version allowed for half duplex (think walkie talkie) calls over Wi-Fi but this new version makes those same calls over your 3G and EDGE connection. I am not sure if EDGE data is enough for a solid phone call but who knows.
