It has been awhile since we last saw an OS update for the BlackBerry Curve 8530. RIM seems to more or less want to forget about it now that the BlackBerry Curve 9330 is out. Bell Mobility has just released OS 5.0.0.1000 officially for the BlackBerry Curve 8530 spotted by BBRocks. I don’t think I have ever seen a solid .1000 release which I find unique. 🙂

Warning: This OS will not install on any other BlackBerry besides the one mentioned above. Don’t forget to delete the vendor.xml file located in c:program files>common files>research in motion>apploader to install it on a different carriers device.
