RIM let us know that AT&T has lowered the price of the BlackBerry Torch 9800 to $99.99 in all of the colors (Sunset Red, Pure White, Charcoal) for the holidays. While that is a pretty good price for the top BlackBerry available I decided to check what Amazon was selling it for.
You can now pick up the AT&T BlackBerry Torch 9800 in charcoal from Amazon.com for only $0.01 after a 2 year contract. You do not get the choice of the new colors but the device went down to free pretty quickly from Amazon. That is one of RIM’s main strengths with the Torch since it uses parts from previous BlackBerry devices allowing them to offer great prices on the device.
