The BlackBerry Bold 9780 was solidly rumored to go on sale today on Bell Canada for $124.95 with a 3 Year voice and data contract. We just heard from one of our sources that Bell has officially notified retailers that the BlackBerry Bold 9780 was delayed from launching today until further notice.
Both black and white variants of the device were supposed to ship starting October 25th but that did not happen. This makes me wonder if this is a Bell imposed delay or one that will delay all of the BlackBerry Bold 9780 launches worldwide… With the bugs users are seeing in the leaked OS 6.0 for the 9700 that may be the reason for the delay.
Hopefully things will be sorted out soon and this device will start shipping.
