Every few weeks RIM does a new study to gather opinions, feedback, and comments on topics related to the ongoing development and support of RIM products. In other words they send out surveys that they ask you to complete so they can get a sense of where the market stands. Questions are similar to “Have you ever upgraded your BlackBerry OS?” or “What feature is most important to you in a smartphone?”
The cool thing about these surveys is that anybody can register to join their Market Research Panel. All you need to do is fill out a 5 minute survey so that RIM can categorize you for appropriate surveys in the future. I find it offers an interesting avenue for providing feedback on topics that RIM is investigating.
