For those of you who just have to stay on the bleeding edge of OS versions out there you may want to try this out. While most 9700 users are clamoring for a BlackBerry 6 OS the team at BBLeaks have done a bit to appease the pain by releasing OS 5.0.0.979 for the BlackBerry Bold 9700. That is just soooo close… but close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.

if your a t-mobile user this ver is unstable update to the 5.0.0.714 from t-mobile it works a lot better and has same fertures the 5.0.0.979 ver does not switch between wifi edge and 3g very well and some times get stuck with the 5.0.0.714 it works fine so stay with the 5.0.0.714 until the new 6.0 os is relesled fot t-mobile bold 9700 the t-mobiel like if your not running 5.0.0.714 is below
