Once a month Distimo comes out with a report on the top paid and free apps in all the different smartphone app stores. June’s report has some interesting changes but some things still amaze me.
Some interesting things to note:
- ONCE AGAIN a memory booster took second place in paid apps!!! WTF!
- Pandora took top place for free apps yet Slacker did not even make the list (was #10 last month)
- 6 of the top 10 paid apps and 2 of the top 10 free apps were themes or the like
- DreamTheme’s Sky2 LiveScreen took top place in terms of paid apps. Maybe RIM needs to make another acquisition…
- Facebook came up as the 7th most downloaded app which is shocking
