RIM & Digital China announced the BlackBerry Curve 8910 this week and the weird part is that it has a trackball. That means it is missing one of the most telltale signs of new BlackBerrys which is the trackpad.
This new 8910 uses the new Evolved-EDGE technology which makes EDGE a little faster but it does not have Wi-Fi like the 8900. It comes with OS 5.0 and all the rest of the 8910 features but it really makes me wonder what they are thinking… Maybe they want to hit the low end market?

There’s no 3g in that market anyways. These devices are requested by the carriers, not RIM. So they know what they’re doing.
