MobiChampion reached out to us about their latest app called MenuMate. The app simply lets you add your own item (think application, website, phone number) to the regular BlackBerry menu. It even lets you add stuff like the current time or battery status as the menu button title. You just open the menu from any app and you will be able to launch a website, any regular or 3rd party application, place a call, write a SMS, or even place a call with 2 clicks.

only problem is that it doesn’t let you launch official RIM blackberry apps such as ‘facebook’ or ‘twitter’ in the ‘launch app option’.. are they working on fixing it?
other then that, great buy for $0.99

I’m glad to see you Reviewed this. I keep meaning to DL it but I’ve been playing catch up. This does look useful. However I do wish there was an app that let me customize the stuff already packed into my bb menu. A few apps push unnecessary stuff into there. 😉
