Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air just announced a new BlackBerry app that they released in App World. The app goes beyond what they have done with their mobile site at mobile.alaskaair.com and adds some nice features you can see listed after the jump.
The app is totally free and could be a real boon if you fly Alaska Airlines or Horizon Air frequently. You can find it at this link in App World. Otherwise you may want to look at apps like WorldMate to manage your itinerary.
- Flight Status: Check your flight status.
- Check-In: Check in 1 to 24 hours prior to your scheduled departure.
- Schedules: Review our daily flight schedules.
- Flight Alerts: Create a flight alert for any Alaska Airlines or Horizon Air flight.
- My Trips: View a list of upcoming trips using your My Account user ID and password. Review your itinerary details, add a mileage program number, and change seats.
