We told you back in December that McDonalds would start offering free Wi-Fi in their stores. Reuters is reporting that as of January 15th you can now get free Wi-Fi in 11,500 out of its 14,000 US locations.
McDonalds previously charged $2.95 for 2 hours of Wi-Fi so this is some welcome news. Now there is an alternative to Starbucks when you just need a quick Wi-Fi fix on the go.
