Things are looking up for those of you waiting patiently for the BlackBerry Essex 9650 instead of Tour. The Essex brings the new trackball, OS 5.0, and Wi-Fi to the table so it definitely an upgrade even if only a slight one.
This week the Essex has been caught on camera with both Verizon branding and Sprint branding. Still no word on release dates but this just goes to show how close this device is to a release. My best guess right now is that it will drop in mid January to February.
