Back in May we mentioned the Do Not Disturb app that Verizon was promoting for dumbphones. Turns out that the app was actually designed by RiffWare and actually works similarly to other BlackBerry apps that block calls.
They just let me know that their app Do Not Disturb is available in the App World at this link for $6.99. I never buy anything from the App World myself since I change devices more often than they allow but if you do it might be worth a look. I am just glad they dropped the $3.49/month subscription fee they had for their feature phone version.

has a nice interface and like the fact it can send an auto away sms message after blocking, but still lacks what other call blockers can do currently. You have to manually add a the number to be blocked. Would like to be able to highlight a number on the call log and add it or select from the addressbook.

I have yet to find ANY call blocker that works worth a crap. Trust me, I’ve messed with em all. They’re hit or miss at best. With no mention of OS 5.0 support I’m not even going to mess with. Why can’t BB build a decent one in?
