Mark over at InsideBlackBerry is providing a great set of tutorials intended for those who are interested in creating themes for the BlackBerry OS. The themes for BlackBerry devices are extremely popular and RIM is about the only smartphone vendor to support easily creating themes. Sadly they have yet to allow you to save your icon positioning between themes but hopefully that is coming soon.
With the release of BlackBerry Theme Studio 5.0 RIM has empowered theme developers with a simpler and easier tool that should lower the bar for entering the theme development field. It also allows experienced theme developers to create animations and other cool effects that use to be complicated to design.
