Tashanna let me know about this new app from VikySoft called CameraToGo. It will mute your camera so you have no shutter sound. It will also let you set a delay timer so that you can count down to a picture. I am not sure what you would use the timer for since you cannot really put your BlackBerry on a tripod but I guess its a nice feature.
NOTE: The mute camera function does not work on the Storm or XX30 CDMA devices. Not sure why but the developer clearly states that.
Sadly there is no free trial but at $4.99 the price is not unheard of. It looks like it works on OS 4.2+ devices excluding the mute feature on the devices mentioned in the note above.
From the description:
CameraToGo bring your camera the mute and timer options.
====== How to use ======
- Enter CameraToGo, set the timer and mute option.
- Press SPACE or ENTER on Go! button. ( or G button on keyboard)
- The timer starts the second the press Go! button.
- Photo will be taken automatically after the timer.
If you only need mute option, you can set the time as manual and take photos manually.

Sounds like BerryAnnoying with a timer. BerryAnnoying doesn’t work with the XX30 devices either, odd that both developers came across the same problem and never worked out that little kink.
BerryAnnoying is available in the BR store as well for $3.95 I believe.

Or Peek-A-Boo without a timer, which is free…
