My buddy Simon spotted this little tidbit while out at WES. It looks like DevelopIQ is bringing their 7digital music store to the BlackBerry this summer. The coolest feature will be that the DRM-free music will download OTA as a low fidelity version (which is not ideal) but the second you come back into Wi-Fi range it will download the high fidelity (better sounding) version.

As I said it is not ideal to download the low-fi version first but it does fulfill the instant gratification feature while making up for it when you are in Wi-Fi range. Not sure what it is going to do on devices that do not have Wi-Fi…
