SkyLab has released LiveTracker free which is a free (for non commercial use) GPS track log application for BlackBerry. The mobile client is installed on your BlackBerry and automatically sends your location information to their servers. You can also easily send your location to a friend over email, SMS, PIN, & MMS.

Anyone know how much battery this drains? Seems like polling every 5 seconds all day would eat up precious battery life quickly.

I’m not sure what the value of this software is… perhaps to locate your Blackberry when you misplace it?
