I have to be honest and say that I am not someone who needs to know the weather on a daily basis. So when McKay from BPlay emailed us about their latest (officially licensed) theme design, The Weather Network – I wasn’t exactly jumping up and down with joy. However, upon testing this theme on my Bold, I quickly became a fan! The Weather Network is something very new in themes as it takes the networks free ‘WeatherEye’ Blackberry application and integrates it into this very cool theme design. Upon downloading the theme, you select the ‘WeatherEye’ icon at the top and designate your location. Then it automatically showcases the current weather conditions for your location at the top left of your home screen. Aside from that neat little feature, the Weather Network theme features a bright blue sky/soft cloud image and bright yellow icons. The bottom dock is user customizable so you can choose the icons you use most on the home screen. The whole theme works really well overall and if you’re someone who likes to have the latest weather conditions handy, you are really going to love having this theme on your Berry. The Weather Network theme is available for most recent Blackberry devices and can be purchased for $5.99 at BPlay.Com.
