Message Peek – Yet Another Email/SMS Popup Utility

messagepeek I looks like having your email & SMS show up as a popup is a hot app for BlackBerry users. First we had PeeKaWho & Aerize Email Alerts arrive on the scene showing us how it is done. Tashanna just let me know that Message Peek has been released by Wise Mobile Solutions to provide another alternative. Personally I find the popups annoying but it looks like there is a market for it. Message Peek does not seem to add any new features but I guess it is good to have options. They have a 7 day trial if you want to check it out after which it is $7.99 in the store.

From the description:

  1. Ok, soon there will be a glut of this product.

Honestly, it’s starting to annoy me to (coming from someone who owns both aerize and smrtguard versions)

  2. This one is so much better than both Aerize and PeekAWho (and I own both of those).

You can read probably 10x as much body content of a sms or email compared to the other two and it doesn’t have the phone slowdown issues.
