Atul sent us in a new theme series he created for the Blackberry Bold called, Executive. Executive Theme Series has four different styles, ‘Simple’, ‘Focus’, ‘Space’ & ‘Speed’. I’ve played with each version and they all work very nicely. My two faves are the ‘Focus’ & ‘Space’ styles but I tend to like a cleaner main screen on my themes. For those of you who like more functionality, ‘Simple’ & ‘Speed’ have more icons on the home screen and may be more up your alley. Note that when you purchase the themes, they come in with a plain black backround however, Atul kindly offers a sampling of free wallpapers (scroll down to bottom of page) you can download that work very nicely with all the theme styles. You can also use wallpapers of your own. I don’t have a ton of space to write in detail about each one so I’ll do something better and show you screen shots of each style (the different wallpapers you see in each screen shot are available for free download from the link above). Each of these themes regularly costs $7.00 but you can get them for $4.99 each until January 30th…so head on over to our store before the sale ends!

Very much my kind of theme, but two downsides… No scrollover text (mainly for the weather app) and you can’t customize the mini icons.

Hi Simon, we are adding the Rollover text in an update file and all previous purchasers will get the option to buy it. We noticed that the scrolling between icons is faster without that text but also see that you loose important text. Stay tuned, an update will be sent to all buyers!
Thanks.

How about the option to change the mini icons??? That would be the best change you could make.

@Ron, yes, that is Beejive in the Notification Area. More and more applications are utilizing the notification area, because the new BB OS allows for the use of that. I’m sure Twitter, Viigo, and many other apps will start to use it. This is why the Executive Theme Series provides the full screen width for the icons! Most other Themes does that, and I’m sure others will follow. And, the default theme in your BB tend to only handle 3/4 icons at a time.
