Rumors floating around point towards a CDMA BlackBerry Bold showing up sometime in the next few months. This might really help Sprint out since they only now just got a iDen Curve and were a bit late on grabbing the 8330.
The new CDMA Bold has been codenamed the Niagara before but expect it to have a different name at launch. Probably the Bold 9030. 🙂 It will have similar specs to the current Bold but adding in EV-DO Rev A. The BoyGenius also hints towards a World Mode HSPA roaming addition to the CDMA Bold which would be cool.

Hopefully, if Sprint does release a CDMA Bold, Verizon will follow with a Bold flavor. The Storm didn’t really immpress me and the Curve seems to be running out of steam.

If one believes all the blogging, what differentiates Niagra from Curve 8930?

The Niagara will be Bold-Like, a 9000 series (larger form factor) than the curve 8930 (code named Javelin for CDMA- Sprint Verizon, number designation not assigned publicly). look at the difference between the curve and bold offered presently and you’ll see the difference.

Sorry, Javelin should have been Jupiter, as Javelin WAS the codename for the GSM 8900 seris curve.
